Mess room. c. 1900. Designed by A. Couchman. Red brick with hipped plain tile roof. Central brick chimney stack flanked by lead ventilators. Deep blue brick chamfered plinth. Single storey.
Main front has four glazing bar sash windows, now boarded. Single doorways and single sashes, now boarded, to each return.
This mess building forms an integral part of this nationally important maltings complex.
