House, Early C18, possibly with earlier origins to rear, minor
C19 alterations. Render and red brick, pantile and slate
roofs, brick coped gables, rear brick stacks.
EXTERIOR: 2-storey, 5-bay front, with cellar, 1st floor band,
dog-tooth eaves, central 6-panel door up 2 steps, with narrow
pilastered pedimented doorcase, flanked by pairs of plain
sashes. To 1st floor 5 similar windows. To rear a lower C18
range with part-tumbled gable and slate roofed single storey
wings cased in C19 brickwork.
INTERIOR: retains panelled doors and full height panelling to
right-hand ground floor room. Staggered butt purlin roof. A
single storey rear kitchen has a large chimneypiece and stack,
and exposed roof structure which may be a remnant of an
earlier phase.
