GV II

House, early C17, and adjoining house c1772-86, combined into
a single house c1856. Brick, ashlar, coursed and squared
rubble, with slate and pantile roofs and 2 gable stacks.
2 and 3 storeys plus attics, 8 bays. C18 block to west, 5
bays, has sill bands, bracketed eaves, and brick coped gables.
Central stone doorcase in the form of a Venetian window, with
a C19 panelled door and fanlight, flanked by two 12-pane
sashes. Upper floors have similar fenestration. Attic has 2
segment headed dormers with 6-pane sashes.
C17 block, to east, 3 bays, has an off-centre door flanked by
a small glazing bar sash and to left, by a 3-light casement,
all with segmental heads. Above, a glazing bar sash flanked by
single tripartite sashes. At the rear, 2 external stacks.
