The following buildings shall be added:-

ALPHETON 1. 5377 TL 85 SE 4/780 Barn at old Hall Farm II GV

Barn. C13 south barn, extended in C16; C18 north-west barn; roofs removed C20. Weather board over timber frame; gambrel corrugated iron roof to south barn and gabled corrugated iron roof to north-west barn. South barn of 8 aisled bays with 2 threshing floors and north-west barn, at right angles making L plan, of 6 bays with central threshing floor. Plank double doors to 2 gabled south porches. Lean-to roof over east porch to north-west barn adjoining C19 outshut to south. Interior: north-west barn has vertical studding with mid rails and jowled storey posts which have bracing and inserted C19 knee braces to tie beams. South barn has C16 vertical studding with mid rails and curved wall bracing to gable ends; jowled C16 aisle posts, with cranked and arched bracing to tie beams and arcade plates; 3 C13 bays at west end with unjowled aisle posts and lateral bracing to arcade plates, all of slighter scantling; reversed assembly to aisles.
