GV II

Farm House, late C16, of brick with pantiled roof. Lobby entrance type plan, extended to the east. 2 storeys and outshut to south. South elevation, 3 windows, flint plinth and C17 brickwork. C20 casement in original opening with brick hood mould above. Small window at first floor with brick hood mould and 2 C19 casements with segmental brick arches. North elevation, at first floor level, casement window with brick hood mould and single splayed reveals and sill. Small window with C17 timber frame. Below C20 window in original opening with hood mould. Blocked door opposite stack with hood mould. Parapet gables with brick kneelers and tumbling in. West gable with plinth and ground floor window with hood mould. To the east, gabled C19 extension with south outshut with casement windows. Almost central axial stack with 4 moulded bases for chimney shafts. Open fire place with timber bressumer to central bay. Evidence of brick arched fire place in parlour. Close spaced ceiling joists and stopped and chamfered axial beam. Winding stair to first floor and attics with stopped and chamfered newel. C17 plank doors in frames, with masons mitres, stops and chamfers. Exposed axial beam in west bedroom.
