18/88 Church of All Saints (formerly listed as Culgaith Church)

Church, dated 1756 but extensively restored in C19. Sandstone blocks with margined quoins on chamfered plinth; moulded eaves. Graduated slate roofs with stone-flagged eaves; stone copings and kneelers with apex cross to east and bellcote to west. Cruciform plan with C19 porch. East window and windows in transept end walls are C19, c1896; C18 windows are plain with pointed heads. West end incorporates C15 window; panel above, dated 1756, is probably C19 replacement. Internally, two C18 columns with moulded capitals and bases on 3½ ft high plinth blocks separate each transept arm from the nave. The C18 box pews were broken up and used to line the walls in the nave and transept; woodwork in chancel is c1936.
