House. C17 with C19 alterations. L plan with central staircase to main block. Slobbered rubble, stone dressings, slate roof. Two storeys, three bays, left-hand bay breaks forward. Central entrance has Tuscan porch, enclosed in late-C19 with rockfaced stone; plank doors, rectangular fanlight. To right are remains of blocked late C17 entrance with moulded surround. C19 windows have plain surrounds - two to ground floor three to upper floor, all with sashes with glazing bars except window over porch which has six pane sashes. Two small upper floor casement windows to right of centre, one with reused C17 chamfered surround. Remains of several blocked C17 windows in former third storey. Shaped eaves modillions. Gable end and central ridge stacks. Hipped roof to projecting wing. Reputedly has origins as probably C16 peel tower.
