SO48SW CHENEY LONGVILLE 1943-1/5/134 Range approximately 20m south-east 12/11/54 of Castle Farmhouse (Formerly Listed as: CHENEY LONGVILLE Cheney Longville Castle)
GV II*
Formerly part of castle, now farm building. Probably C14, with later alterations. Sandstone rubble; plain tile roof. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; various lights and openings, including chamfered ashlar doorway and timber-frame and weatherboarded panel, over openings in oak frames, and span-arch chamfered pointed arch with plank door. Rear: 3- and 4-light mullioned windows in chamfered ashlar surrounds under relieving arches; ventilation holes; light to gable. Lean-to to left front, under catslide roof. INTERIOR: not inspected.
