SPRINGFIELD ROAD 1. 5314 Malthouse SK 93 SW 4/50 II
2. Dated LW 1866 in relief on panel. Red brick with yellow brick bands, lintels and patterned eaves cornice. 3 storeys, with 4 storey central cross wing which has ashlar quoins, bracketed cornice and other dressings and a prow-like hoist projection from face of gable, 3-sided, corbelled out over 2nd floor doorway, the eaves cornice forming peak over stone slant. Deep-set camber-headed, nearly square windows (4 to right of cross wing, fewer to left). Cross-wing intersects with equal height range behind front range. Slate roofs.
