Church. 1909. W.D Caröe. Red brick. Pitched tiled roof to eaves. Late Gothic manner with strong vernacular overtones. Three bay nave, aisles, lower chancel, transepts; spired fleche at junction of nave and chancel, segmental arched entrance in gabled porch to north east transept end, flanked by flying brick buttresses. Four-light aisle windows with cusped perpendicular tracery, set in segmental arched brickwork reveals, with gabled buttresses between bays rising through low sweeping roof. Four-light gabled dormers to clerestory. West end with great buttressed niche containing four-light west window in segmental arched reveal, with narrow ogeed lights to below. East end with seven-light perpendicular tracessed window in pointed opening.
