GV II
Garden wall and gates linking St Margaret's House and St Margaret's Vicarage. Late C18. Red brick. Wall with plinth course terminating in ashlar set-off. 3 recessed blind arches with round heads above. Stone coping slabs. Wall swept down at north end to meet first of a pair of stone gate piers with chamfered corners and hipped caps. Between piers are a pair of wrought-iron gates: circular section verticals between unadorned stiles with a middle rail. Above middle rail are 2 cross braces intersecting at a boss. Above top rail the verticals have urn-and-spike finials. Between north pier and the vicarage is a fixed identical gate.
