- II
Farmhouse, dated 1795 on north gable ties irons, with late C19 remodelling. Red brick, black glazed pantile roof. Two storeys and attics, double pile range to east; two storey wing to west. L-shaped plan. East facade a late C19 refronting on an earlier plinth; symmetrical, of three bays. Outer bays have tripartite sashes with glazing bars under segmental rubbed brick arches. Central doorway with brick porch; half-glazed 2-leaf door with moulded brick reveal and segmental head; Moulded and dentilled brick cornice with cast iron balustrade. Central first floor sash with glazing bars in segmental headed opening. Parapeted gables with internal chimney stacks. 2-light attic casements in gables. South gable of rear pile has also ground floor 3-light casement and first floor sash with glazing bars; openings with segmental heads. Brick dentil eaves to rear pile. Two storey range to west with steeply pitched hipped roof. Two 4-light casements in south wall, entrance door opposite chimney stack. Segmental heads to ground floor openings. Brick dentil eaves course. Catslide in north-west angle. West wall has ground floor slatted window, now partly blocked, 4-light first floor casement.
