- II
Court of manor house. Dated 1658, SG (Simon Gorges) on porch; remodelled early - mid C18 and extended early - mid C19. Render and ashlar; hipped slate roof behind coped parapet; moulded eaves cornice. 2 storeys, and attics to centre in 3 dormer windows. 3:3: 3 bays: all glazing bar sash windows. The outer 6 bays are early - mid C19 2 storey bow windows; pilasters with incised capitals between the ground floor windows; panelled frieze; tripartite first floor windows, segmental heads, cornice and panelled apron; panelled eaves on brackets. The central 3 bays have segmental hoods on brackets over the ground floor windows. Central projecting porch. moulded doorway with imposts, and a semi-circular head; Ionic columns on high pedestals, plain frieze and a moulded cornice.
