Public house, part of hotel (rest No 2). C18 altered C19. Painted brick, plain tile roof, toothed ridge tiles. 2 storey, 4 bay with carriageway through one centre bay. Front has 1½ storey high segmental head carriageway with chamfered jambs Between LH bays 4-panel door in doorcase with flat hood on cut brackets. Each side 4-pane segmental head sash with 12-pane similar over. Tilting window over archway. RH bay has paired sashes wider fascia, above 12-pane sash. Central ridge stack.
