Parish church. 1849-50 by J L Pearson in Decorated style. Stone rubble with free- stone dressings. Welsh slate roofs. Nave, chancel, south aisle, south porch and tower at the east end of the south aisle, in two storeys and with a stone broach spire with 3 tiers of lucarnes and a po1ygonal stair turret in the angle with the chancel. Geometric traceried windows, the east window of 5-lights. Buttresses with set-offs and coped gables with apex crosses. Gabled south porch. Vestry on north side of chancel with catslide roof and polygonal chimney stack with set-offs. Interior faced in Bath stone. Three bay arcade with short alternating round and octagonal piers with moulded capitals and bases and double-chamfered arches. Arch- braced nave and chancel roofs with cusped wind-braces Contemporary furnishings intact including wrought iron alter rail, choir stalls, seating, pulpit, lantern, reredos and font with wrought iron cover.
