2. 17306. Lord Burlington's Palladian Villa. Wyatt wings have been demolished 1952. Vide CL IV p464, IX p512, XIV p336, XLIII pp130, 160, LX p308. NMR. Lord Burlington lived here from 1729; Charles James Fox died here 1806, George Canning died here 1827; Edward VII when Prince of Wales lived here for 7 years. Recently restored by Ministry of Works.
Chiswick House, the garden buildings and ornaments form a group.
