CHURCH ROAD 1. 5304 BELGRAVE SK 5907 10/4A 5.1.50 Stables at Belgrave Hall II GV 2. Dated 1710. Red brick. Slate roof hipped one end gabled the other. Moulded brick eaves cornice and moulded brick to gable parapets. Hipped dormers with moulded eaves. L-shaped plan, One storey and attic. To each wing there is gabled slight projection with segmental arch carriage entrances with elliptical openings above, one with double carriage entrance and date 17l0, picked out in darker bricks and brick dripmould over opening in gable. Mullion/transom casements with glazing bars. Brick chimney stacks with moulded brick cornices.
St Peter's Church, Belgrave Hall and Garden Walls, Stables and Monument to Edward Holdsworth, the Gateway and Railings to Belgrave Gardens, Belgrave House and Stables all in Church Road, together with Cross Corners in Thurcaston Road form a group.
