ANDERBY RECTORY LANE TF 57 NW (south side) 4/50 Wexham Farm

II

Farmhouse. c.1800 with C19 alterations and additions. Red brick in English garden wall bond of 3, with plain stucco dressings. Pantile roof with brick coped partly tumbled gables and 2 gable stacks. T-plan, the rear range is a C19 addition. 2 storey, 3 bay front. Slightly off-centre 6 panelled door flanked by single wide plain sashes. To first floor are 2 similar windows and a narrower central window in an original wider opening. All openings have splayed lined stucco lintels. The farm may have been built following the enclosure of Anderby Parish in 1807.
