SK 96 SW THURLBY MAIN STREET 4/51 Rectory II

Rectory c1860. Red and white brick with hipped slate roof, and gable. In Gothic Revival style, with various decorated brick stacks. 2½ storey west, entrance front has central doorway with pointed arch opening of alternating red and white brick voussoirs. 19C door with ornate hinges. To north a double sash window under segmental arch, to south tall pointed stair window and above 2 small sash windows, all with red and white brick voussoirs. South end bay projects slightly and has tall gable, with tall double casement on ground floor, double sash window above and narrow casement at attic level, all with segment heads and red and white brick voussoirs. Various outbuildings to north in similar polychromatic brick work style.
