THE CLOSE Nos 71A and 71B

(Formerly listed as Cottage and Stable Block)

28.2.52.

GV II Former stable block of No 71(qv). C18 considerably altered as two residences. Two storeys red brick and some grey headers. Steep pitch hipped old tile roof. West front has modern C18 style casements and doors. East front of flint rubble, partly rendered, part of earlier structure? Irregular casements.

All the listed buildings in the Close form an outstanding group.
