Wrest Park Gardens, Silsoe, Bedfordshire

Wrest Park was built in 1834-9 and was inspired by the design of an 18th-century French chateau. The house is set in over 90 acres of gardens studded with fountains, canals and garden buildings. This property is now in the care of English Heritage (2010). View an interactive map
