The Trout Inn, Lechlade, Gloucestershire

A view of Mr James Ayliffe pouring a pint of beer from a wooden barrel from Simonds Brewery of Reading. The Trout Inn was originally founded c1229 to care for workmen on St. John's Bridge. The actual building probably partly dates to that period but is mostly late medieval, with late 18th century additions on the main frontage to the north.
