The School House, Shinfield, Wokingham, Berkshire

Built in 1890 as a school and school house this building is now library and house. Before the Victorian era most children did not go to school. By the end of the Victorian era all children under 12 were supposed to go to school. This meant 100s of new schools were built during Victorian times.
