Cask Drop, Fremlins Brewery, Faversham, Kent

A brewery was founded on this site in the 18th century, but all of the buildings still in existence by the time it was demolished in 1995 are Victorian. This picture shows the cask drop where barrels were rolled into the underground storage areas from the floor above where they were filled.
