Benenden Chest Hospital, Jackson Way, Benenden, Kent

The Lister Wing at Benenden Chest Hospital was built in 1937 in International Modern style. The long 2 storey block faces south to catch as much sunshine as possible, helpful to patients with tuberculosis. There is a balcony so that patients can spend time in the open air. This was part of their treatment.
