Bedford Hospital, Britannia Road, Bedfordshire

The hospital was built in Renaissance style with Jacobean and Flemish details. The Children's Ward has 20 tiled Nursery rhyme panels which were probably made by a firm called Maw's. These tiles are some of the best examples of early ceramic art work in children's wards. It is rare to find such panels still in place.
