Arden's House, 80 Abbey Street, Faversham, Kent

This building was the Guest house of Faversham Abbey and adjoins the outer gatehouse. It is a timber-framed building probably dating from the 15th century. The house was the scene of the famous murder of Thomas Ardene in 1550, which is the subject of a play "Arden of Faversham". Some local people think Shakespeare wrote it.
