Former brush factory and attached warehouse, now offices and
salon. Late C18 and early C19, the east range raised C19.
Brick with hipped pantile roofs and a side wall stack.
Former factory, 4 storeys, 3 bays, has to south a central
glazed door flanked by single sliding sashes, all with
segmental heads. Above, 3 altered casements with wooden
lintels. Above again, 3 segment headed sliding sashes. Above
again, 3 similar windows with flat heads. West end has to left
a C19 full height cast-iron spiral stair with a door on each
floor, that to the ground floor blocked. To the right, a
2-light sliding sash on each floor, that to the ground floor
blocked. East end has to left a segment headed door and above
it, a bracket lamp and a 2-light casement. Above again, a
blocked opening and, to the top floor, a 2-light sliding sash.
Former warehouse, 3 storeys, 4 bays, has to south a segment
headed passageway and door to left, and three C20 casements
with shutters. Above, 2 casements with toplights, flanked to
right by a casement with segmental head, and to right by a
similar casement with fanlight. Above again, 4 segment headed
sliding sashes.
