SY 18 NE BRANSCOMBE BRANSCOMBE

7/34 Illegible headstone approximately - 8 metres south of nave of Church of St Winifred GV II Headstone. Dated 1727. Beerstone ashlar with slate plaque. Upright slab standing approximately 800 millimetres high and has a shaped head. On the front there is a square-headed slate plaque with bolection-moulded frame. Above that the head is carved as a bifurcated scroll over a winged cherub's head flanked by a skull and crossbones. The inscription is Roman serif upper and lower case lettering. The name of the deceased is illegible but he or she died in 1727.
