Description

The collection comprises negatives and original prints by the Cornish archaeologist C K C Andrew. Dating from 1931 - 1938, the photographs document historical sites and buildings in Cornwall, and include views of the town of Looe, the medieval wells at Dupath and St Keyne's, churches at Lanreath, Lanteglos and Morwenstow, and views of the harbours at Polperro and Looe. There are also several photographs showing details of medieval stone carvings.

C K C Andrew was an archaeologist based in Darite, Liskeard, who worked with C A Ralegh Radford on Cornish excavations.

The collection was drawn from the Red Boxes, and other photographs by C K C Andrew may exist in the Red Box Backlog.
