Victoria Baths with attached forecourt walls, Hathersage Road, Longsight - Manchester

A former public baths complex dating from 1906. A major programme of repairs continues, led by the Victoria Baths Preservation Trust, with external repairs to the front block and Gala Pool now completed. A variety of public spaces are available and in regular use for multiple events whilst other areas await restoration. The female's pool needs extensive repairs and the Trust have commissioned a heating study for the site. Discussions are ongoing with Historic England as the Trust undertakes further work to establish a robust long-term strategy for the building.
