Miners' march, Tuckingmill, Carn Brea, Cornwall
South Crofty Tin Mine closed on Friday, 6 March 1998. The following day miners marched from Camborne to the mine to commemorate their mining heritage. A strong sense of patriotism can be seen in the dress, flags and faces of these people, to whom Cornwall is more of a country than a county.
