King Edward VI Grammar School, East Retford, Nottinghamshire

The King Edward VI Grammar School was originally founded in 1552. It was rebuilt in 1855-7 by Decimus Burton. It is built in a neo-Tudor style. In 1874 the boarding-house wing (behind) was extended. In 1896 science rooms and a gymnasium were added. Then in 1937 a new hall was also built.
