HMS Britannia, Dartmouth, Devon

The HMS Britannia moored in the River Dart. The ship was used as the Royal Naval cadet training ship. The Royal Naval College, Dartmouth, was founded in 1863 and originally housed students in hulks(ships) moored on the River Dart. The officer training college was purpose built in 1905 giving the cadets much improved acommodation.
