Grain Elevator, Canal Street, Sheffield, South Yorkshire

This grain silo and elevator was built in 1920 and is steel framed with iron plate cladding. Canals were one of the main routes for transporting agricultural goods into the 20th century and so storage sites built before WWII are often still situated alongside these waterways.
