Goose Skeleton, Lullingstone Roman Villa, Eynsford, Kent

A goose skeleton found near the kitchen in the north range of the villa during excavations. The villa was built around 100AD but was added to until the 4th century. It was a very large and luxurious building including a bath house. This site is now in the care of English Heritage (2010).
