Glebe Junior School, Hamlet Lane, South Normanton, Derbyshire

This is probably the earliest school designed by George Widdows who was County Architect for Derbyshire in the early years of the 20th century. He pioneered healthier designs for school buildings. He introduced large windows with openings designed to allow extra ventilation and verandah corridors. It was built in 1900.
