Former Shoe Factory, Tudor Road, Leicester

This building was originally a shoe factory. It was built in 1901. It was designed by Charles Dorman of Northampton. It is a fine example of the Edwardian Baroque Style of architecture. The shoe industry had been an important trade in Leicester since the 1880s.
