Erecting the 100,000th Temporary House, Clapham, London

During the harsh winter of 1947 the 100,000th temporary house in Britain was erected in Clapham (or possibly Wandsworth). The accompanying ceremony was attended by several local dignitaries (whose names have been lost in history) who braved the January snows to be photographed for posterity.
