Duke's Grain Warehouse, Dukes Dock, Liverpool, Merseyside

Duke's Dock was built in 1773 by the Duke of Bridgewater for the transshipment of cargoes carried on the Bridgewater Canal. Two bargeholes in the base of the warehouse, one now partly blocked by a mezzanine, provided covered wharfage.
