Cloth Hall, Colne, Lancashire

Originally the building was used as a cloth hall for the sale of woollen goods. By the 1820s the building was used for the general sale of goods as the cotton industry replaced the wool trade in Lancashire. The 23 bay hall was demolished in 1953, soon after this picture was taken.
