Church Cross, Masham, North Yorkshire

A churchyard cross in the grounds of St Mary's Church, Masham. The cross consists of a late 8th-early 9th century shaft on a later base and was developed from early Christian Eastern Mediterranean monuments such as the Ciboricum of Saint Marks, Venice.
