Brown Monument, Church of St Cuthbert, Ormesby, Redcar and Cleveland
This monument is to Elizabeth Caroline Brown who died in 1905. Miss Elizabeth Caroline Brown was a local benefactor during her lifetime. Her will gave instructions for her monument. It also gave the sum of £3,000 for adding a tower to the existing parish church and money to build a new wing onto the cottage hospital.
