An elevated view looking east along Marine Parade and Madeira Drive, showing the Aquarium at the centre of the frame. The Brighton Aquarium was built in 1869-72 by Eugenius Birch. The exterior was rebuilt in the 1920s. This photograph shows the earlier building.
