Boston Union Workhouse and grain silos, Lincolnshire

The workhouse was built in 1837 to designs by G G Scott. It consisted of an entrance range, the main workhouse building and an infirmary set between the workshop and laundry ranges. By 1914 it was a cottage home for children. In 1996 only the entrance block survived, standing in front of huge grain silos. The building has since been restored.
