Audley End House, Saffron Walden, Essex

Lady Braybrooke's Sitting Room at Audley End House is an example of the taste in the late Victorian period for 'cluttered' interiors. Although the house dates back to the early 17th century, much of its present design can be chartered through a period of 400 years. This property is now in the care of English Heritage (2010).
