Ashbrook Dairy, Rainham Road, Dagenham, Greater London

Formerly called Sparks or Sharps, Ashbrook Farm House was a late eighteenth-century building. There have been more than three houses on the site. The last of them was used as a tannery until 1914. By 1958 it was known as Ashbrook Dairy. The house was demolished in the mid-1960s when Rainham Road was widened shortly after this photograph was taken.
