Almonry, Gate and Goldsmiths Tower, Ely, Cambridgeshire

The almonry gave food to the poor as an act of religious virtue. The almonry, Sacristy, Gate and Goldsmiths tower were erected by Alan of Walsingham in 1322. They probably incorporated an older building.
