1 Howard Street, Tynemouth, Tyne and Wear

This building was originally a library (paid for by subscription), built in 1806-07 for the Tynemouth Literary and Philosophical Society. It is a fine example of late Georgian architecture with its use of symmetry and columns with pediments.
