GV II

Terraced houses. c1825. Probably designed by Amon Wilds and Charles Augustin Busby. Stucco. Roofs of tile. 3 storeys with dormers over basement. 2 windows each. Up stairs to round-arched entrances with fanlight, No.10 having original decorative glazing; door jambs treated as fluted Tuscan pilasters. To the left of both entrances rises full-height segmental bays with flat-arched, tripartite windows; single window to right of bay on first and second floors, those to No.10 and the second floor of No.11 are camber arched; first-floor window to No.11 flat arched. Sashes of original design in No.10 except for second floor, and in No.11. First-floor balconies with cast-iron railings; balcony to No.10 segmental in plan, to No.11 rectangular. Over entry of No.10 shallow porch on cast-iron brackets. Cornice and blocking course to No.10; blocking course to No.11. Two flat-arched dormers each. Stacks to party walls. INTERIOR: not inspected. Railings to stairs and areas.
